Shall not inherit the kingdom of God

 Dear Brothers and Sisters,

A number of years ago there began to be a “movement” of homosexuals claiming to be Christian, even to the point of them forming homosexual churches.  I have personally had several discussions over the years with people like this who completely ignore some of the following verses.  They twist them to mean something completely different than what they actually say.

The Lord told me that the using of these verses would end up being a “judgment” on His own people, for they were NOT obeying them any more than the homosexuals.  This article is NOT about homosexuals but rather about how people, who claim the name of Christ Jesus ACTUALLY LIVE!  Let us look at what the Lord says>>>>

1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,
1Co 6:10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

Gal 5:19 Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),
Gal 5:21 Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

(Hmmm, only making a profession means NOTHING to God)
2Ti 3:1 BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].
2Ti 3:2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.
2Ti 3:3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.
2Ti 3:4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.
2Ti 3:5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].
2Ti 3:6 For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate silly and weak-natured and spiritually dwarfed women, loaded down with [the burden of their] sins [and easily] swayed and led away by various evil desires and seductive impulses.
2Ti 3:7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth.
2Ti 3:8 Now just as Jannes and Jambres were hostile to and resisted Moses, so these men also are hostile to and oppose the Truth. They have depraved and distorted minds, and are reprobate and counterfeit and to be rejected as far as the faith is concerned. [Exod. 7:11.]

Look at all of these things that the scriptures tell us ANYONE who practices them will NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD!  Are we willing to place our own lives on this measure and see how we measure up to God’s commands?  How does our own walk look when compared to Gal 5:20-21?  How about II Tim 3?  Or I Cor 6?

Let me add something here>>>>>

Rom 11:16 Now if the first handful of dough offered as the firstfruits [Abraham and the patriarchs] is consecrated (holy), so is the whole mass [the nation of Israel]; and if the root [Abraham] is consecrated (holy), so are the branches. [Num. 15:19-21.]
Rom 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, while you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share the richness [of the root and sap] of the olive tree,
Rom 11:18 Do not boast over the branches and pride yourself at their expense. If you do boast and feel superior, remember it is not you that support the root, but the root [that supports] you.
Rom 11:19 You will say then, Branches were broken (pruned) off so that I might be grafted in!
Rom 11:20 That is true. But they were broken (pruned) off because of their unbelief (their lack of real faith), and you are established through faith [because you do believe]. So do not become proud and conceited, but rather stand in awe and be reverently afraid.
Rom 11:]. ], neither will He spare you [21 For if God did not spare the natural branches [
Rom 11:22 Then note and appreciate the gracious kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's gracious kindness to you--provided you continue in His grace and abide in His kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off (pruned away).
Rom 11:23 And even those others [the fallen branches, Jews], if they do not persist in [clinging to] their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.
Portions of Rom 11: 21 & 22 are emphasized to bring our attention to them in the midst of the rest of these great truths.  First, Paul is writing to the Roman CHRISTIANS.  Second, he tells them that they HAVE BEEN GRAFTED INTO the cultivated olive tree that is Israel.  Third, Paul tells them that they MUST walk in belief OR THEY WILL BE CUT OFF!

Now, is this proof that Christians can “lose” their salvation?  To some it may say that to others, I am not sure what they think or how they explain it.  The point is NOT one way or the other.  The point IS>>> THE POSSIBILITY EXISTS THAT WE CAN “LOSE” IT!  For that indeed is what Paul seems to be saying.  I am NOT trying to make a doctrine here but ONLY WARN ALL OF US!

THAT is what I am saying.  We may THINK we know for sure, but is that NOT conceit, is that NOT arrogance and pride?  I am sure that some will read these words and wish to argue another way.  BEFORE YOU DO THIS, PLEASE pay attention.

Isa 1:10 Hear [O Jerusalem] the word of the Lord, you rulers or judges of [another] Sodom! Give ear to the law and the teaching of our God, you people of [another] Gomorrah!
]. ]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats []? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [Isa 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [
Isa 1:12 When you come to appear before Me, who requires of you that your [unholy feet] trample My courts?
Isa 1:13 Bring no more offerings of vanity (emptiness, falsity, vainglory, and futility); [your hollow offering of] incense is an abomination to Me; the New Moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure--[it is] iniquity and profanation, even the solemn meeting.
Isa 1:14 Your New Moon festivals and your [hypocritical] appointed feasts My soul hates. They are an oppressive burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them.
Isa 1:15 And when you spread forth your hands [in prayer, imploring help], I will hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood!
Isa 1:16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil,
Isa 1:17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.
Isa 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

Do we HONESTLY think we can come before God, EVEN TODAY, walking in sin, not having our hearts COMPLETELY CLEANSED from the VERY NATURE of sin? If we do not have our HEARTS Cleansed from ALL SIN, being PURE, HOLY, being PERFECT BEFORE GOD why do we believe that HE will pay attention or accept our prayers, praises, thanksgivings, or what we call worship.

Is our God so weak, so overcome by the power of sin that HE cannot deliver us completely from it’s grasp?  We say “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES!”  Except deliverance from sin!  For as soon as someone says that, the vast majority of people claim we MUST SIN ON A DAILY BASIS!

Read Isaiah 1 once more.  Look at what God required of Israel.  Do we think He has changed His HOLY requirements?  What about the COMMAND of Jesus Christ?

Mat 5:43 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy; [Lev. 19:18; Ps. 139:21, 22.]
Mat 5:44 But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [Prov. 25:21, 22.]
Mat 5:45 To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike].
Mat 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?
Mat 5:47 And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that?
Mat 5:48 You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Lev. 19:2, 18.]

That means exactly what it says in the Amplified.  Mature godliness in MIND AND CHARACTER!  That means how we act as well as what is in our hearts.  In fact, the whole Sermon on the Mount is a contrast from the Old Law to the New Covenant that Jesus brought!  Not only must we obey Him out of our hearts, but the requirements are HIGHER than the 10 commandments.  We must have a pure heart, one that does NOT have any division in it of devotion to the Lord.  Pure means 100% or it is not pure.

An example would be having 1 ml of swamp water in 999ml of pure water.  You could say it was 99.9% pure, but that 0.1% will kill you!

This is NOT possible for the unsaved.  ONLY the truly saved, consecrated, and sanctified person, continually be being filled with the Holy Spirit, led by the Holy Spirit, with the SOURCE of life living inside of them will ever be able to live in this manner.  No MERE human being, but a TOTALLY NEW CREATURE!

Eph 4:21  Assuming that you have really heard Him and been taught by Him, as [all] Truth is in Jesus [embodied and personified in Him],
Eph 4:22  Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion;
Eph 4:23  And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude],
Eph 4:24  And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.

Do we REALLY believe these verses, or do we ONLY give them lip service while the world looks on us, judging us rightly that we are hypocrites?

All of these verses above speak of the FRUIT the Lord expects in our lives.  Some will say that this takes a long time, perhaps the rest of our lives.  NOT SO!  Look at what the Lord TRULY expects>>>

Luk 13:6 And He told them this parable: A certain man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it, but did not find [any].
Luk 13:7 So he said to the vinedresser, See here! For these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and I find none. Cut it down! Why should it continue also to use up the ground [to deplete the soil, intercept the sun, and take up room]?
Luk 13:8 But he replied to him, ]. ] this one more year, till I dig around it and put manure [Leave it alone, sir, [
Luk 13:9 Then perhaps it will bear fruit after this; but if not, you can cut it down and out.

I do not wish to be accused of saying we only have 3-4 years to walk in righteousness, for most of us have exceeded this and we still may enter in.  But once we have been given this truth, once we recognize that we are required to live in this manner, it should NOT take many years for IF we are diligent, we WILL enter in!

If we do not enter in, then we are being lazy.

Heb 5:9 And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him, [Isa. 45:17.]
Heb 5:10 Being designated and recognized and saluted by God as High Priest after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek. [Ps. 110:4.]
Heb 5:11 Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain]. ] hearing and sluggish [, since you have become dull in your [
Heb 5:12 For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God's Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food.
Heb 5:13 For ]! everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [
Heb 5:14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.

Do we understand what the writer of Hebrews is saying?  He is speaking to CHRISTIANS and he is telling them that they are lazy, slothful and can NO LONGER UNDERSTAND.  They are feeding on milk and EVERYONE who does NOT live a life that is conformed to the divine will in PURPOSE (heart attitude folks) Thought and ACTION (this means EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS) is a MERE INFANT and NOT able to talk.

The ONLY person who is REALLY mature in Christ Jesus lives a life that is conformed to the divine will in purpose thought and action, that means an EXPERIENTIAL REALITY; the way we live, move, feel, talk, everything! All others are mere infants, babes in Christ no matter how many degrees they have in biblical studies, or how long they claim they have “followed” the Lord! I am sorry to say, but what is written here in this article is following the Lord.  This is how God says a truly, mature believer lives.  Anything else is man’s thinking or satan’s deception.

I am quite sure people will react to this article.  There will be those who, EVEN IF THEY DO NOT RESPOND will write this truth off, discount the things I am saying, and continue on the way they have been going.  We can either believe what the scriptures actually say, or we can be deceived.  We can be one of the wise virgins waking up to hear the Lord or we can be one of the foolish virgins who realize far too late that they cannot enter in because they are not prepared.

Some will think I write these things from arrogance, pride, in harshness, rudeness, and sin.  But if a voice cries out in the night that the city is on fire when we do not know it, do we blame the messenger because his/her message is not something we want to hear?  I do not enjoy writing these words.  I have done what I could to speak them as gently as possible.  Please do not come judging me because I have spoken the truth.  Do not blame me if the God you believe in is not strong enough to deliver you from sin, to make us just like Adam and Eve in the garden.  REMEMBER, they did not have the sin nature when they chose to sin!  We too can choose to sin once we have been cleansed.

BUT, once we are cleansed, we are cleansed from ALL Sin; ALL of it!  There remains no more to be cleansed of.  We can be forgiven and still not be cleansed. But once we are cleansed, once the spot of sin has been taken away from our garments, we will be wearing the white robes of righteousness.  According to many places in scripture, God is looking for a REAL righteousness not a positional one.  We must either come to Him, be cleansed of all, and walk by the Holy Spirit or we may find ourselves becoming one of the foolish virgins, who were NOT allowed to enter.  It is our choice!

A bondslave in Christ Jesus, Dirk
